The Constitution

The standards that govern the Desk.

The Constitution defines who we are, how we operate, and what is expected of every member—beginning with the founder.

Mission

Deliver rigorous institutional education dedicated exclusively to XAUUSD. Through structured study, disciplined practice, and evidence-based review, we develop independent traders capable of sound professional market judgment.

Institutional Purpose
Vision

Establish an enduring standard for the study and professional practice of XAUUSD trading—one grounded in evidence, discipline, and capital preservation, through which independent judgment can be taught, evaluated, and preserved.

Academic Direction
Articles

Six articles. One institutional standard.

  1. Article I

    On the Market

The market is a continuous auction. Price records agreement; volume reveals participation; time tests conviction. We study these elements together—never in isolation.

  2. Article II

    On the Trader

The trader is an operator under uncertainty. The role is to prepare a plan, define risk before reward, and execute without negotiation when the conditions of that plan appear.

  3. Article III

    On Method

We rely on market structure, Auction Market Theory, Volume Profile, VWAP, liquidity, order flow, and True Day Open. We do not rely on prediction, opinion, or unverifiable indicators.

  4. Article IV

    On Risk

Capital preservation precedes capital growth. Risk is defined, sized, and accepted before entry. A losing trade executed correctly is preferred to a winning trade executed by accident.

  5. Article V

    On Conduct

Members operate with honesty, humility, patience, and restraint. Profit screenshots, performance boasting, and signal selling have no place at this Desk.

  6. Article VI

    On Education

Education is continuous. Every member journals, reviews, and submits to disciplined critique. We refine the model, the process, and the operator together.

Professional Standards

Six standards held by every member.

These standards are non-negotiable. They define how the institution recognizes its own.

  • S.01
    Evidence

A position is defended with structure, profile, and flow—never with opinion.

  • S.02
    Preparation

Every session begins with a written plan; no plan, no trade.

  • S.03
    Sizing

Risk is fixed by the framework, not expanded by conviction.

  • S.04
    Journal

Every trade is journaled within twenty-four hours, without exception.

  • S.05
    Review

Weekly review is mandatory; monthly review is presented with evidence.

  • S.06
    Silence

We do not publish positions, P&L, or screenshots for status.

The Professional Oath

Affirmed on enrollment. Practiced for life.

I will read the auction before I read my opinion. I will define my risk before I seek my reward. I will execute the plan I prepared, not the trade I wish for. I will journal what I did, review what I learned, and return tomorrow with the same discipline as today.

— Affirmed on enrollment. Revisited throughout the Academy.
Trading Ethics

What we uphold. What we refuse.

Professional ethics are defined equally by the conduct we practice and the conduct we reject.

What We Uphold

  • 01We form judgments from evidence, not influence.
  • 02We define and accept risk before execution.
  • 03We disclose uncertainty with the same clarity as conviction.
  • 04We welcome disciplined critique and revise conclusions when evidence changes.
  • 05We share research for education, review, and professional development.
  • 06We preserve the independence of every student’s judgment.

What We Refuse

  • 01We do not sell signals.
  • 02We do not manage client capital.
  • 03We do not promise outcomes.
  • 04We do not market with profit screenshots.
  • 05We do not present broker, prop-firm, or affiliate promotion as education.
  • 06We do not substitute authority, popularity, or confidence for evidence.
Student Expectations

What is expected of every enrolled student.

  • 01
    Engage

Follow the prescribed sequence and complete each stage with full attention.

  • 02
    Submit

Assignments and competency work are completed in the prescribed format.

  • 03
    Contribute

Discussion is generous; critique is direct, evidence-based, and respectful.

  • 04
    Practice

Replay and simulation precede live execution at every level.

  • 05
    Persist

Mastery is measured in years, not weeks. We plan accordingly.

Constitutional Authority

Issued under the Office of Academic Direction

The Constitution is maintained by Gold Trading Desk under the direction of Mazen Al Adgham, Founder and Academic Director. Its standards apply to the institution, its students, and its leadership alike.

Institutional Mindset

An institution of one.

A professional desk does not depend on the conviction of a single morning. It depends on a process repeated across years—written, reviewed, and refined by people who treat the work with seriousness.

Our members are trained to operate as that desk, even when alone. The tools, the language, the standards, and the rituals are the same. The difference is scale, not method.

This is the institutional mindset: respect for the auction, respect for risk, and respect for the craft.
