01What is Gold Trading Desk?Institution

Gold Trading Desk is an educational institution dedicated to professional gold-market study. It teaches a governed methodology centred on auction behaviour, market structure, value, participation, risk and disciplined decision-making.

02Is GTD a broker, signal provider or prop firm?Institution

No. GTD does not execute client orders, hold trading capital, issue copy-trading instructions, guarantee outcomes or sell signals. Market information is presented as observable educational evidence, never as personalized financial advice.

03Does GTD guarantee profitability or funding?Institution

No. Education can improve process and judgment, but it cannot remove uncertainty or guarantee profit, certification, employment, funding or capital preservation.

04What is the difference between registration and enrollment?Membership

Registration creates a member workspace. Enrollment is the separate admission into a professional Desk programme. A registered member may explore public and member resources without being an enrolled Desk candidate.

05Does signing in with Google require another email confirmation?Membership

Normally no. Google confirms control of the address during the OAuth process. Email-and-password registration follows the verification procedure presented during signup.

06Where can I manage my profile and preferences?Membership

Authenticated members can use My Desk, Profile and Settings. Available controls depend on account role and programme standing.

07What is the difference between a Registered Member, Desk Candidate and Desk Graduate?Membership

A Registered Member has a verified GTD workspace without an active Desk enrollment. A Desk Candidate has entered the applicable programme and is working through its governed requirements. A Desk Graduate has completed the required Lectures and assessment and has been formally advanced by the institution.

08How do I enroll in Desk I after registration?Membership

Registration does not create Desk enrollment. Review the Desk I admission and tuition terms from My Desk, then complete the applicable enrollment process. Candidate standing and full curriculum access begin only after an active enrollment record is established.

09What does Desk I contain?Curriculum

Desk I Foundations contains five chapters and twenty-five sequential Lectures. It establishes the language, observational framework, risk discipline and professional habits required for later Desks.

Review the curriculum
10Must Lectures be completed in order?Curriculum

Yes. Sequential completion protects the academic dependency between concepts. A later Lecture is not evidence of competence when the preceding foundation has been bypassed.

11Can a completed Lecture be reset?Curriculum

Yes, where the interface provides a reset control. Resetting is useful for revision, but it can affect the completion state and downstream academic eligibility.

12Is Lecture 1.1 publicly available?Curriculum

Lecture 1.1 serves as the public foundation preview. Access to the complete Desk I sequence requires the applicable enrollment status.

13Is Desk II Lecture 1.1 publicly available?Curriculum

Yes. Desk II Lecture 1.1, The Observable Unit, is available inside a registered member workspace without Desk II enrollment. It is a bounded introduction to the Market Reading standard. The applicable prior award and enrollment remain required for the complete Desk II curriculum.

14What is the Auction Thinking Diagnostic, and does its result affect admission?Curriculum

The Auction Thinking Diagnostic is a fifteen-question educational orientation that identifies the participant's current auction-thinking profile. Its result is not an admission decision, academic credential or prediction of trading performance, and it does not create enrollment.

15When does the Desk I assessment become available?Assessment

The Desk I assessment becomes available after all twenty-five Desk I Lectures are recorded as complete and the member's academic record satisfies the applicable assessment eligibility requirements.

16What is the Desk I passing standard?Assessment

The current Desk I standard requires a score of at least 80 percent. The assessment interface displays the applicable attempt and eligibility rules before submission.

17How many assessment attempts are permitted?Assessment

Desk I currently provides two controlled attempts. Attempt records are part of the academic record and are not erased merely because the result was unsuccessful.

18Does completing the Lectures automatically create a certificate?Credentials

No. Lecture completion creates assessment eligibility. A certificate requires a valid passing assessment record followed by authorized institutional issuance.

19How is a GTD certificate verified?Credentials

Each issued credential has a public verification record and QR-supported verification route. Verification confirms the institutional record; a screenshot or copied PDF alone is not authoritative.

20Can a certificate be issued twice?Credentials

The credential system is designed to preserve one governed issuance record for the applicable achievement. Reproduction or download does not create a second academic award.

21Is the Auction Brief a trading signal?Market Information

No. The Auction Brief reports controlled observations and market context for education. It does not instruct the member to buy, sell, hold or size a position.

22Why can market information be unavailable or stale?Market Information

GTD discloses missing or stale evidence rather than replacing it with simulated data. Market closures, connectivity, broker availability and freshness controls can temporarily withhold a record.

23Why does the ticker continue during weekends?Market Information

The market-data gateway remains operational continuously, while the public ticker displays only GTD's selected institutional references. Each visible instrument retains its own market-state and freshness label during closures.

24How does the Auction Narrative Generator use the GTD institutional feed?Market Information

The generator creates a timestamped account from the latest verified GTD institutional feed available when the member requests it. It uses the session chronology, Liquidity Map, Volume Profile and VWAP evidence present in that feed. Missing evidence is not replaced with invented data, and the narrative remains an observation rather than a forecast.

25What does the Liquidity Formation Monitor display?Market Information

The monitor follows the New York-time formation, fixation and sweep state of the Asian Kill Zone, London Kill Zone, New York AM and New York PM reference ranges. It also identifies inherited prior-auction references such as the Previous Day High and Previous Day Low. The display describes current evidence; it does not issue a trading instruction.

26Are the external publication links endorsements?Resources

No. They are direct references for independent educational research. GTD is not affiliated with or endorsed by those publishers, and their names and content remain governed by their own terms.

27Why can points, pips and ticks differ between brokers?Resources

Point size follows quotation precision, tick size follows the permitted price movement, tick value expresses its monetary value, and pip is often a market convention. RS.02 therefore uses the broker specification as the controlling source.

Open the Risk Calculator
28Does the Trading Journal upload my entries to GTD?Resources

No. The Trading Journal stores entries locally in the current browser. Members should export backups and must not enter passwords, API keys or account credentials.

Open the Trading Journal
29Can generated Auction Narratives be saved, reviewed and deleted?Resources

Yes. An authenticated member can save a generated narrative to the private Observation Library, reopen the timestamped record for review and delete it through the controlled deletion action.

30What is the difference between the Observation Library, Journal and Lecture Notes?Resources

The Observation Library preserves generated Auction Narratives. The Journal holds the member's own dated market records, reflections and post-session classifications. Lecture Notes remain attached to specific Lectures as a separate private study record.

31How does Private Member Support work, and where are resolved enquiries kept?Membership

Private Member Support keeps each enquiry and reply attached to the member's GTD account. An administrative reply creates a member notice. After the enquiry is resolved, the routine bell notice is archived while the correspondence remains available in My Enquiries as part of the private support record.

Open Private Member Support
32Is educational content financial advice?Policy

No. GTD content is general education. Members remain solely responsible for broker selection, position sizing, execution, compliance, taxation and every decision involving capital.

33Where are the governing terms and privacy policy?Policy

The Terms and Privacy pages state the platform rules, data practices, educational limitations and member responsibilities.

Read the Terms
34What happens to tuition if an enrollment is cancelled or refunded?Policy

The applicable outcome depends on whether digital programme access has begun, the reason for cancellation and any mandatory legal right. Before activation, an approved cancellation may be refunded less disclosed non-recoverable costs. After digital access begins, tuition is normally final except where mandatory law or verified non-delivery requires another remedy.
